VETS

Mr Chris Lloyd,

Chris qualified from Liverpool in 1978 and is an experienced dairy and beef practitioner. He took over the practice in 1996 and has built up a large client base over the years. He has a keen interest in the large animal side but can also be found in the surgery theatre performing intricate orthopaedic procedures. In what spare time he gets, he is a keen rower, canoeist and enjoys walking.

Mr Simon Lyddon,

Qualified in 2003 from Bristol and is an experienced mixed animal vet. Simon joined us in 2007 from a mixed practice in Exmoor, Somerset and became a partner in the practice May 2009.  He lives near Ross with his wife Mel, daughter Mollie, 2 Patterdale terriers, rescued cat (hazard of the job) and a handful of chickens. An excellent all round vet who enjoys challenging cases and these see the serious side of Simon. Off duty, he is the practice practical joker with a wicked sense of humour! Charity Winston’s Wish benefit from his outside interests of hill/mountain walking and to his credit, he and his brother completed the Three Peaks Challenge in 2008 raising in excess of £4,770.00. They did it in a time of 23 hours 35 minutes, what an achievement! Simon also completed the 2009 London Marathon in 3 hours 56 minutes raising further funds for Winston's Wish!

Miss Alexis Holley,

Qualified in 2007, also from Bristol, she is an enthusiastic member of our team. Lexy lives in Ross with her Patterdale terrier Lottie who was bred locally by a client. She enjoys surgical and medical cases and is always up for a challenge. She brought new ideas to the practice and has gained vast experience since she graduated. Leisure time is spent walking Lottie and catching up with friends – she is the ultimate party animal!
