VETERINARY NURSES

Miss Alison Leake, RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse (2005) and SQP. Joined the practice in 1997. Ali lives in Ross with her Border Terrier, Nellie and cat Alfie who is a Rag doll cross. She has a keen interest in teaching veterinary nursing and has lectured at a local college in this subject. She has also run an animal first aid course which proved very popular. Within the practice, special interests are dentistry, radiology, wound management and animal nutrition but she enjoys all aspects of nursing – you never know what is going to come through the door. Ali is currently studying for a BVNA Certificate in Dentistry. She likes to relax by walking Nellie, designing stained glass windows and socialising!
Mrs Sally Morton, RVN

Joining the practice in 2002, Sally works part-time at
the surgery but also covers holiday and sick leave. She lives near Ross with her
fruit grower husband, two sons, 1 Black Labrador, 1 Cocker Spaniel, 2
English Springer Spaniels and a Burmese cat. Radiology is a particular interest
but she enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing both large and small animal.
Outside of practice life, Sally likes to relax walking the dogs, tinkering on
the computer and helping a friend with his event horses, travelling the country
(even to Ireland) on these jaunts!

Miss Breda Meek, Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Joined the practice in October 2008. Bre was a work experience student who
volunteered one day a week. When the opportunity arose, she joined us as a

Mrs Julie Donaldson,
Receptionist
Julie has been with us since 2004. She lives in Ross with her husband, 2 sons, 1
Border Terrier cross called Mutters (who has the title of Biggest Wimp Ever) and
cat Basil. Julie is the first person most people see upon entering the surgery.
Outside of work, she enjoys walking Mutters and is most likely to be found on
the cold touchline of local football matches cheering on her youngest son! Be
warned, you will only see her eyes as the rest is covered up, she is an
experienced supporter!

Mrs Pam Andrews, Receptionist

and Gertie the tortoise. Her interests include bird watching, dog walking,

Jean enjoys running and quiet moments which are all too rare at the present
time!
